Your Responsibilities
Provide leadership to Customer Logistics Planning (CLP) team with understanding of Plant Strategies and Goal alignment as applicable to Logistics and Planning.
Ensures targets are clear and understood with the effective use of experience and knowledge. Leads Customer Satisfaction/Relationships.
Manages and balances priorities for projects within Customer, Logistics and Planning.
Assessment of skill sets and/or gaps with development plan and actions to close gaps for associates.
Develop and implement the use of Standard Work for each CLP area of responsibility.
Empower team members to operate, maintain and expand process capability in the areas of Quality, Cost, and Delivery as applicable to Logistics and Planning areas: MPS/Level Load Analysis vs. Volume Development; Optimize Planning Function with Process/System Improvements; Delivery/Production/Inventory Analysis vs. Business Plan Targets; Capacity vs. Customer Demand Analysis; Root Cause Evaluation of Planning/Delivery issues; New Program Launch Plan and Status Evaluation/Management.
Your competencies and qualifications
BA/BS Degree or equivalent from college or technical school
3 of years of related Material Planning and Logistics experience
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Previous experience leading a team of direct reports
Previous experience leading cross-functional teams
Must be proficient with Outlook and Microsoft Office applications
Automotive industry experience strongly preferred and understanding of Customer/Market demands of Automotive Industry. Lean Manufacturing experience preferred. SAP experience a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
