Your Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the following:
Lead Molding Engineering Team with Policy Deployment metrics, performance reviews, etc to achieve business plan targets.
Lead the Molding Engineering Team of Tooling Engineers, Process Engineers, Project Management staff to design and construct all Bosch Albion Plant tooling, process engineering for all new tooling and existing production tooling, etc.
Plans and oversees new program and tooling launches.
Oversees procurement of new capital equipment along with improvement of existing equipment as needed.
Maintains and monitors capacity utilization plan.
Selects, develops, trains, and supervises staff in accordance with company guidelines.
Helps develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to support business needs.
Utilizes performance reports, data, and analysis to drive systematic improvement in the injection molding department.
Ensures documentation standards are available for all process related to supporting the injection molding department.
Reviews and analyzes proposals submitted to determine if benefits derived and possible applications justify expenditures.
Approved and submits proposals considered feasible to management for consideration and allocation of funds or allocates funds from department budget.
Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring projects such as timelines, open point lists, PDCA charts, and progress reports in order to inform management of current status of each project.
Working with the Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Quality Departments; reviews and monitors quality and process improvements and new product development.
Directs the review of production costs and product quality to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division.
Your competencies and qualifications
Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
Four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
