Position SummaryThis position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and will be working on a team while assembly parts on the brake line, in a fast-paced environment.
More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including, but not limited to the following:
Builds brakes through different processes including Lifting plates, arms and shoes onto workstation table Assembling plates, shoe, arm and spring into full brake assembly Loading assembled brakes onto pallet for transportRequirements High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required Prior manufacturing experience on an assembly line, preferred, but not required Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and other simple documents.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and looks for ways to promote quality.
Observes safety procedures.
Maintains good attendance.
Hand tool experience is a plus - totes, brakes, shoes, arms, springs, plates, pallets, small carts, small hand tools Some examples of preferred competencies:
